Gabriel was one of those babies who did not arrive according to plan. He came too soon, too swiftly, and too small. It was (frankly) a scary situation, but the staff here was amazing. Cherie’s calmness and expertise helped us weather a difficult and potentially dangerous labor. Beverly’s continual care and dedication — far into the night — kept Gabriel safe and out of the hospital. As a father, I am particularly grateful that I was treated like the father, not like a piece of furniture. They kept me involved in the care of my wife and son, right up until we went home. Everyone’s kindness cannot be exaggerated. We may not have had the “ideal” labor, but it’s for that very reason I am so glad we were at the Birth and Women’s Center. I owe them my family. What more can I say?
